ANOTHER POSTPONEMENT FOR THE FINAL PLANNING MEETING FOR THE PROPOSED LIBERTY PARK INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT HAS OCCURRED.
THE MEETING WAS GOING TO BE HELD MONDAY EVENING AT THE SGT. BLUFF CITY HALL, BUT WOODBURY COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR ROB MARQUSEE SAYS THAT MEETING IS BEING DELAYED FOR A COUPLE OF MORE WEEKS.
MARQUSEE SAYS THE DELAY IS BECAUSE OF A NEED TO REVIEW AND GET MORE INPUT REGARDING THE PROPOSED PLAN BY THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
THE CURRENT PROPOSAL BY THE LIBERTY PARK PLANNING COMMITTEE CALLS FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF THE EXISTING PORT NEAL INTERSTATE 29 INTERCHANGE AS WELL AS A NEW INTERCHANGE TO THE NORTH TO SERVICE BOTH LIBERTY PARK AND THE CITY'S SOUTHBRIDGE INDUSTRIAL PARK.
Sioux City residents in need of dental care can get some help at a clinic this Saturday. Lilly Family Dentistry will host a free dental care event by providing free dental services to the first 50 adults who show up at their northside offices.
Marketing coordinator Mindy Mullen says the team of dental professionals at Lilly will provide services to patients ages 18 and up:
Patients are asked to arrive early as the event is a first come, first serve basis. Event registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. and patients will be seen through 4 p.m. that day:
Patients are also encouraged dress appropriately for the weather and to bring chairs, water and snacks as they may be waiting outside before being seen.
The free clinic is part of the Dentistry from the Heart program. Lilly Family Denistry is at 2100 Indian Hills Drive.
