A South Sioux City man convicted of stabbing another man in August has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Andrew Orellana pleaded no contest in January to one count of assault.
The 32 year old was sentenced Monday and must serve at least six years before he can be released. He was also ordered to pay more than $4,200 in restitution to his victim to help cover his medical expenses.
Police say Orellana stabbed the 19-year-old victim multiple times outside a liquor store in South Sioux City.
