The Sioux City Public Museum is commemorating the community's role in World War Two with a new temporary exhibit.
Museum director Steve Hansen says Sioux City was home to one of the Army Air Corps' largest bomber training bases:
One of the promotional items is a milk bottle from the 1940's from Roe Dairy:
Hansen says the exhibit also contains German and Japanese military memorabilia brought home by returning American veterans:
The Sioux City Public Museum is located at 607 4th Street in downtown Sioux City and is closed Christmas Day and on Mondays.
