Three Iowans are facing child sexual exploitation and other charges in federal court.
Fifty-five-year-old Michael Malcom of Humboldt and Ashley Prince and Nikki Fawcett of Fort Dodge have been charged in an indictment unsealed this week in U.S. district court in Sioux City.
The indictment charges that Malcom, Prince, and Fawcett enticed one or more minors under the age of 18 to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions.
The indictment alleges that Malcom and the 21-year-old Prince conspired to sexually exploit children.
It also alleges that Malcom and the 23-year-old Fawcett transported persons across a state line, including a person under 18, with the intent of engaging them in prostitution.
Malcom, Prince, and Fawcett appeared in court Monday and were released on bond.
