Someone who bought a Powerball ticket at a convenience store in Sheldon, iowa won a $1 million prize in Saturday night’s drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at Casey’s, 504 Second Ave. in Sheldon.
Whoever has the ticket came close to winning it all in Saturday’s $88 million jackpot drawing, matching the first five numbers but missing the Powerball.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 11-12-17-39-40 and Powerball 5.
The Sheldon ticket was one of five across the country that each won a $1 million prize that night.
No one won the jackpot in Saturday’s drawing, so Powerball’s top prize climbs to an estimated $108 million for Wednesday.
Whoever won the ticket should sign the back of it immediately. Prizes of $1 million must be claimed at Iowa Lottery headquarters in Des Moines.
