Getting information or signing up for the online insurance marketplace of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul has not been easy for many Iowans on day one for the new system.
Adam Kuiken is the Financial Services Director for the Siouxland Community Health Center.
He says as of 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, the system hasn't been very accessible:
Similar problems also took place throughout Nebraska and South Dakota.
Kuiken says you have through mid-December to sign up for the program that starts January 1st, so it may be best to wait a day or two before trying again:
Kuiken says the plan information he's seen so far has coverage costs ranging from less than $200 per month to over $1000 per month depending on what level of coverage an individual wants.
