The United Way of Siouxland kicked off their 2013-14 fundraising campaign Tuesday morning at the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA in South Sioux City.
Campaign co-chairman John Gleeson says this year's goal is to increase giving by $100,000 over last year to $3.3 million dollars:
This year's theme is UN1TE, which Gleeson says shows how one person can have a lifetime impact on others:
The campaign is off and running with $300,000 already donated by local companies and individuals who have contributed early.
The United Way of Siouxland supports 24 local organizations.
