A car stolen from Jackson, Nebraska led to the arrest of a man wanted for murder in Omaha.
47-year-old Jay Witt was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Monday in a stolen vehicle on the east side of Omaha. He was taken into custody without incident.
Omaha police say Witt was wanted on a warrant for second-degree murder for the July 14th killing of 48-year-old William Furlong at the Hells Angels' Motorcycle Club building in Omaha.
Dakota County Sheriff Chris Kleinberg says Witt had allegedly stolen the car around 8 a.m. Monday.
Kleinberg says the car's on-board security system was used to track the car to Omaha.
