Two Iowa men have been convicted in federal court on charges including conspiring to rob a South Sioux city business last June.
20 year old Terrence Miles of Sioux City and 19 year old Austin Peters a-k-a Austin Stadler from Nemaha were each convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit robbery, one count of possessing a short-barreled rifle, and one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
Prosecutors say Miles and Peters and others met to plan the robbery of Seoul Foods, in South Sioux City last June 19th.
They traveled with firearms and other weapons from Sioux City to South Sioux City where Miles and others robbed the store of money and property.
Peters served as lookout and getaway driver during the robbery.
Sentencing before United States District Court Judge Mark W. Bennett will be set after a pre-sentence report is prepared.
Miles and Peters remain in custody and face up to 40 years in prison on the charges.
