The Iowa Transportation Commission has approved a three million dollar RISE grant to help build new roadways for the $1.7 billion dollar CF Industries expansion project.
The money will help pay for construction of over 9800 feet of pavement including improvements to 260thStreet from a point near the Interstate 29 interchange, west to Port Neal Road.
There will also be turning lane improvements along Port Neal Road from 259thStreet to 260thStreet; and construction of 259thStreet.
The project is anticipated to be completed by November of 2014.
