Two men face felony charges for allegedly vandalizing a memorial to the 1989 crash of United Airlines Flight 232 in Sioux City.

19 old Scott Coleson, of Lehigh, Iowa and 18 year old Felipe Sebastian, of South Sioux City are suspected of pushing over a boulder at the memorial in Chris Larsen
Park early Wednesday.

Both are charged with criminal mischief in excess of a thousand dollars.

Lt. Mark Kirkpatrick of the Sioux City Police says a witness reported seeing the vandalism take place and called authorities. Police arrested the suspects on the riverfront a short time later.

The cracked boulder is one of eight leading up to a statue commemorating Siouxland's response to the plane crash.
