The Iowa Finance Authority has teamed up with the Greater Sioux City Board of Realtors, RE/MAX and Security National Bank to promote "The Meaning of Homeownership" contest.
Ashley Jared of the I-F-A says it's to promote June as National Homeownership Month and to increase awareness of the Iowa Finance Authority's programs offered at more than 400 local lender locations throughout the state.
Their realtor will snap a photo for entry in the Facebook contest. The contestant with the most votes wins a $1,500 gift card. Sioux City area residents are encouraged to visit a participating contest location for their chance to win.
Contest entries will be voted on by the public July 2-15 at the Iowa Finance facebook site.
