MOVILLE CELEBRATES

The town of Moville, Iowa is celebrating its Quasquicentennial this week.
      

Moville's mayor, Jim Fisher, says the town got its name from John McDermott, an immigrant from Moville, Ireland;

Fisher says Moville, Iowa and Moville, Ireland are the only two Moville's in the world. 
    

The town will host a parade at 11:00am on Saturday featuring over 20 units from the Abu Bekr Shrine Temple.

There's many other events every evening now through Saturday including an alumni flag football game Thursday and the musical production of "Oklahoma" Friday,
