ARMELL BACK IN CUSTODY

A man who escaped from a residential work release center in Sioux City is back in custody.

State prison officials say 40-year-old Cletus Armell was captured Tuesday. He was taken to the Woodbury County jail.

Armell failed to return to the facility on Sunday from a shopping pass. He was serving a 15-year sentence for armed robbery. He was transferred to the work release center in Sioux City in December.
