SOUTH SIOUX CITY MAN ELECTROCUTED

A South Sioux City man has died while working on a utility pole at a feedlot in northeast Nebraska.

The Dixon County Sheriff's Office says 29 year old Derrick Roth was pronounced dead at Dixon County Feed Yard in Allen on Tuesday.

The office says Roth was electrocuted. He worked for a contractor hired for a construction project at the feedlot.

Deputies say Roth's death was accidental and that the investigation is closed.
