An Alta, Iowa man has been arrested on several sex abuse charges.
The Buena Vista County Sheriff investigation of suspected sexual abuse led to the arrest of 52 year old Robert Hoffard.
Hoffard has been charged with 10 counts of sexual abuse in the 3rd degree, a Class C felony, and two counts of sexual abuse in the 2nd degree, a class B felony.
Authorities say Hoffard allegedly committed the acts with a minor child under the age of 16. Hoffard is currently being held in the Buena Vista County Jail on $150,000 bond.
