Local, state and federal officials will hold a meeting in North Sioux City next week to discuss flood preparedness.

The public town hall is designed to teach residents and businesses about the spring weather outlook, flood insurance and the best steps to take ahead of the start of the spring storm season.

Representatives from local emergency management, the South Dakota Office of Emergency Management, the National Weather Service and FEMA will be at the meeting, which will be held Monday night from 7 to 9 o'clock at the North Sioux City Fire Hall, 205 Sodrac Drive.
