COUNTY SUPERVISORS INTERVIEWED THE FOUR APPLICANTS IN CLOSED SESSION LATE TUESDAY MORNING.
A TOTAL OF 12 PEOPLE APPLIED FOR THE SUPERVISORY POSITION.
HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR ED GILLILAND CONFIRMED THAT THE JOB WAS OFFERED TO ONE OF THE FINALISTS, WHOSE IDENTITY HAS NOT BEEN PUBLICLY RELEASED YET.
THAT PERSON IS NOW GOING THROUGH FINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS BEFORE COMING BEFORE THE COUNTY BOARD FOR FINAL APPROVAL.
THAT APPROVAL COULD COME AS EARLY AS NEXT TUESDAY’S BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING.
