A HEARING ON SIOUX CITY’S ARGOSY RIVERBOAT CASINO RESUMES THURSDAY MORNING IN POLK COUNTY DISTRICT COURT IN DES MOINES.

THAT’S WHEN JUDGE ELIZA OVRUM WILL DECIDE IF THE CASINO OPERATED BY PENN NATIONAL GAMING WILL REMAIN OPEN.

THE BOAT WAS ORDERED TO CLOSE JULY 1ST BY THE IOWA RACING AND GAMING COMMISSION, BUT JUDGE OVRUM ISSUED A TEMPORARY STAY LAST MONTH THAT ALLOWED THE ARGOSY TO REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THURSDAY, JULY 10TH.
