RESIDENTS ALONG THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF THE CITY RECEIVED ROUGHLY THREE INCHES OF RAIN IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES.

SIOUX CITY COUNCIL MEMBER KEITH RADIG WAS WORKING DOWNTOWN AT HOM FURNITURE WHEN THE DOWNPOUR BEGAN.

HE SAYS MANHOLE COVERS POPPED OFF OF THE STREETS AND WATER BEGAN TO SEEP INTO HOM FURNITURE.

NONE OF THE FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED AS WATER RESPONSE TEAMS ARRIVED QUICKLY TO DISPOSE OF THE EXCESS WATER.
