A STORM LAKE MAN IS IN CUSTODY FACING SEVERAL CHARGES FOLLOWING A SUNDAY NIGHT STABBING IN THAT CITY.

AUTHORITIES SAY 39 YEAR OLD JOSE SEVILLA-PEREZ IS CHARGED WITH
GOING ARMED WITH INTENT, WILLFUL INJURY, FELONY ASSAULT CAUSING INJURY AND TWO MISDEMEANORS.

STORM LAKE POLICE SAY SEVILLA-PEREZ AND THE VICTIM GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT OVER LOUD MUSIC WHICH ESCALATED INTO A PHYSICAL FIGHT.

POLICE ALLEGE THAT SEVILLA-PEREZ STABBED THE 29 YEAR OLD MALE VICTIM IN THE SHOULDER, HAND AND ABDOMEN.

THE VICTIM WAS TAKEN TO THE BUENA VISTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER.

HIS NAME AND CONDITION HAVE NOT BEEN RELEASED.

SEVILLA-PEREZ WAS BOOKED INTO THE BUENA VISTA COUNTY JAIL ON A $25,600.00 BOND.
