MONDAY IS MEMORIAL DAY AND CITY OPERATED CEMETERIES WILL HAVE STAFF ON DUTY AT GRACELAND, LOGAN AND FLOYD CEMETERIES FROM 7AM UNTIL ONE IN THE AFTERNOON TO ASSIST THOSE WHO NEED HELP IN LOCATING SPECIFIC GRAVE SITES.

MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY WILL HAVE ITS AVENUE OF FLAGS ON DISPLAY THIS YEAR AND ALSO HAVE STAFF ON HAND TO ASSIST PEOPLE.

MEMORIAL PARK WILL NOT HOLD A CEREMONY MONDAY BECAUSE OF DWINDLING ATTENDANCE IN RECENT YEARS AND CONCERNS OVER TRAFFIC BACKED UP ONTO MORNINGSIDE AVENUE AND BLOCKING VEHICLES FROM ENTERING AND LEAVING THE CEMETERY.
