RESIDENTS IN DAKOTA CITY, NEBRASKA MAY NOTICE SOME WATER QUALITY CHANGES THIS WEEK.
THE CITY IS SUSPENDING THE WATER SOFTENING PROCESS SO REPAIRS CAN BE MADE AT THE WATER PLANT.
A CITY SPOKESMAN SAYS SAYS THE WATER CHEMISTRY WILL SHOW A DRAMATIC INCREASE IN HARDNESS WHILE THE REPAIRS TAKE PLACE.
THE WATER IS SAFE TO USE, BUT THE CITY WOULD LIKE RESIDENTS TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON WATER QUALITY DURING THE REPAIRS.
THE REPAIRS WILL TAKE FROM FOUR TO SIX WEEKS.
