THE GENERAL MANAGER OF SIOUX CITY’S ARGOSY RIVERBOAT CASINO IS HEADED EAST.

PENN NATIONAL GAMING, THE BOAT’S PARENT COMPANY, HAS ANNOUNCED THAT LANCE GEORGE HAS BEEN NAMED GENERAL MANAGER OF PLAINRIDGE PARK CASINO IN PLAINVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS.

GEORGE WOULD START HIS NEW JOB ON MAY 26TH SUBJECT TO CUSTOMARY REGULATORY APPROVALS.

GEORGE WILL OVERSEE THE CONSTRUCTION, STAFFING AND ANTICIPATED 2015 OPENING OF PLAINRIDGE PARK CASINO, AS WELL AS THE HARNESS RACING OPERATIONS AT THE FACILITY.

THE IOWA RACING AND GAMING COMMISSION HAS ORDERED SIOUX CITY’S RIVERBOAT TO CLOSE JULY 1ST.
