Convergys says it will cut 150 jobs at its Sgt. Bluff call center.

A company spokeswoman says one of its clients wanted the cheapest prices generic viagra work moved to another Convergys location, but she would not identify the client or the other site.

She says the decision about Sergeant Bluff was not about performance but was aligned with the client’s priorities.

The cuts are expected to begin June 8 and end by July 27, leaving about 500 employees at the Sergeant Bluff location.

Convergys acquired the center as part of its $820 million acquisition of Stream Global Services.
