RAY KRIGSTEN PASSED AWAY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.

THE 73 YEAR OLD KRIGSTEN WORKED AT POWELL FOR SEVEN YEARS IN OUR I-CAST INTERNET SALES DEPARTMENT BEFORE RETIRING IN MARCH.

BEFORE COMING TO POWELL, KRIGSTEN WAS WELL KNOWN IN THE FURNITURE BUSINESS.

HE OWNED AND OPERATED KRIGSTEN FURNITURE FOR OVER 26 YEARS IN SIOUX CITY, AND WAS INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SELECT SLEEP NUMBER BED.

KRIGSTEN SERVED ON THE SIOUX CITY MUSEUM BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND WAS AN AVID BRIDGE PLAYER, OFTEN PLAYING WITH WARREN BUFFETT.
