SOUTH SIOUX CITY WILL HAVE ITS SHARE OF STREET CONSTRUCTION THIS YEAR TOO.
STARTING MAY 5TH, A TEN BLOCK STRETCH OF DAKOTA AVENUE FROM 29TH TO 39TH STREET WILL BE REBUILT BY THE CITY AND THE NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF ROADS.
TRAFFIC COMING FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH WILL BE DETOURED AND SIGNS WILL BE POSTED.
THE CITY SAYS THEY HOPE TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO LOCAL BUSINESSES ALONG THAT SECTION OF DAKOTA AVENUE NEARLY 100% OF THE TIME.
THE PROJECT WILL TAKE UNTIL LATE FALL TO COMPLETE, ALTHOUGH SOME SECTIONS SHOULD OPEN MUCH SOONER.
