State makes economic development awards to 5 companies

By Pat Curtis Five companies that are planning expansion projects were awarded financial incentives today by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Board. The projects, combined, are expected to create 257 jobs and result in over $22 million in new capital investment.
