A SIOUX CITY MAN WAS ARRESTED SATURDAY FOR THE ARMED ROBBERY OF THE MCDONALD’S ALONG SUNNYBROOK DRIVE.

POLICE SAY 46 YEAR OLD JOSE LUIS CRUZ-CUILTY WAS ARRESTED BY NORTH SIOUX CITY POLICE AFTER HE TOOK GAS FROM THE KUM & GO IN ELK POINT AND ATTEMPTED TO ELUDE OFFICERS.

POLICE SUSPECTED HE MAY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE THURSDAY ROBBERY AFTER LOCATING A WEAPON ON HIM THAT MATCHED THE DESCRIPTION.

SIOUX CITY POLICE INVESTIGATORS INTERVIEWED CRUZ-CUILTY AND OBTAINED A WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST FOR 1ST DEGREE ROBBERY.

HE WAS BEING HELD IN THE UNION COUNTY JAIL IN ELK POINT.
