A WOODBURY COUNTY JAILER HAS BEEN RELIEVED OF HIS DUTIES FOLLOWING HIS ARREST FOR PUBLIC INTOXICATION.

A SEPARATION AGREEMENT WITH JOE MORAVEK IS SCHEDULED TO BE FINALIZED BY WOODBURY COUNTY SUPERVISORS ON TUESDAY.

MORAVEK, WHO WAS A STAFF MEMBER AT THE PRAIRIE HILLS JAIL FACILITY, WAS ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY SHOWING UP FOR WORK LAST MONTH IN AN INTOXICATED STATE.

ARREST RECORDS SHOW HIS BLOOD ALCOHOL LEVEL TESTED  AT POINT-TWO-ONE.

MORAVEK’S EMPLOYMENT WITH THE COUNTY ENDED ON JANUARY 29TH ACCORDING TO THE SEPARATION AGREEMENT.
