THE NEXT STEP IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING BRYANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WITH A NEW BUILDING WILL TAKE PLACE AT TONIGHT’S SIOUX CITY SCHOOL BOARD MEETING.

THE BOARD WILL DISCUSS AND VOTE ON APPROVING THE DESIGN PLAN FOR THE NEW BUILDING, WHICH WILL ALSO INCLUDE PROPERTY ACQUISITION OF SOME NEARBY HOMES.

THE BOARD WILL ALSO VOTE ON APPROVING A 28E AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY TO DEVELOP THE SITE AT 821 30TH STREET ON THE CITY’S NORTHSIDE.

BRYANT IS THE CITY’S OLDEST PUBLIC SCHOOL AND WAS BUILT IN 1890.

THE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING BEGINS AT 6PM AT THE EDUCATION CENTER BOARD ROOM AT 4TH AND JACKSON STREETS.
