CAPTAIN MEL WILLIAMS OF THE SIOUX CITY POLICE SAYS THE DEADLINE IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR PIT BULL DOG OWNERS:

IF YOU OWN A PIT BULL AND MISS THE LICENSE RENEWAL, YOUR DOG IS CONSIDERED ILLEGAL.

THE CURRENT LICENSE FEES ARE $10.00 FOR NEUTERED CATS OR DOGS AND $30.00 FOR UN-NEUTERED CATS OR DOGS.

IF PET LICENSES ARE OBTAINED AFTER MARCH 1ST, $2.00 WILL BE ADDED TO EACH LICENSE FEE, $4.00 WILL BE ADDED AFTER APRIL 1ST AND $6.00 AFTER MAY 1ST.

IF YOU PET IS PICKED UP BY ANIMAL CONTROL WITHOUT A LICENSE, IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE TO GET IT BACK:

PETS MUST BE VACCINATED FOR RABIES BEFORE A LICENSE CAN BE ISSUED.
