LONGTIME SSC NEWSPAPER EDITOR DIES

A LONGTIME, WELL KNOWN MEMBER OF THE SIOUXLAND NEWS MEDIA HAS PASSED AWAY.  HENRY TRYSLA DIED SUNDAY AT AGE 81.

TRYSLA BECAME EDITOR OF THE SOUTH SIOUX CITY STAR NEWSPAPER IN 1952. HE SPENT OVER 50 YEARS COVERING EVENTS IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA.

TRYSLA ALSO SERVED AS PRESIDENT OF THE SOUTH SIOUX CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND WAS INVOLVED IN SEVERAL OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.
