LONGTIME SSC NEWSPAPER EDITOR DIES

A LONGTIME, WELL KNOWN MEMBER OF THE SIOUXLAND NEWS MEDIA HAS PASSED AWAY.  HENRY TRYSLA DIED SUNDAY AT AGE 81.

TRYSLA BECAME EDITOR OF THE SOUTH SIOUX CITY STAR NEWSPAPER IN 1952. HE SPENT OVER 50 YEARS COVERING EVENTS IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA.
  

FORMER NEBRASKA SECRETARY OF STATE ALAN BEERMAN WAS TRYSLA’S FRIEND FOR 65 YEARS:
