FATAL WOODBURY COUNTY ROLLOVER

A ONE VEHICLE ROLLOVER IN RURAL WOODBURY COUNTY HAS CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A SIOUX CITY MAN.

THE IOWA STATE PATROL SAYS 18 YEAR OLD NINO SEGURA WAS KILLED WHEN HE WAS EJECTED FROM THE S-U-V HE WAS RIDING IN EARLY MONDAY MORNING.

INVESTIGATORS SAY SEGURA WAS ONE OF 5 PEOPLE RIDING IN THE VEHICLE WHEN THE DRIVER APPARENTLY LOST CONTROL ON CARROLL AVENUE NEAR 140TH STREET AROUND 3:15 THIS MORNING.

THE DRIVER, 18 YEAR OLD OSCAR RAMIREZ OF SIOUX CITY WAS TRANSPORTED TO MERCY MEDICAL CENTER. HIS CONDITION IS NOT BEING RELEASED.

ALSO SENT TO MERCY WERE 19 YEAR OLD JUAN MUNOZ OF SLOAN. AND 18 YEAR OLD FELIX LEMEUS OF SIOUX CITY. THEY’RE LISTED IN FAIR CONDITION.

A FIFTH VICTIM, 18 YEAR OLD CHRISTIAN BRUCE, ALSO OF SIOUX CITY, WAS TREATED AND RELEASED.

THE ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
