COUNCIL APPROVES SLED LAWSUIT SETTLEMENT

THE SIOUX CITY COUNCIL HAS APPROVED A NEARLY 479-THOUSAND DOLLAR SETTLEMENT TO A MAN WHO WAS SEVERELY INJURED IN A SLEDDING ACCIDENT AT SERTOMA PARK. 

DAVID ROSALEZ SUSTAINED A SPINAL CORD INJURY IN JANUARY 2008 WHEN HE SLID BACKWARDS INTO A PARKING SIGN.

THE 38 YEAR OLD ROSALEZ AND HIS FAMILY FILED A LAWSUIT FOR NEARLY TW0-POINT-SEVEN-FIVE MILLION DOLLARS AGAINST THE CITY IN JANUARY OF 2010.
