BAKER PLEADS NOT GUILTY

A SOUTH SIOUX CITY MAN CHARGED IN THE DEATH OF HIS FORMER GIRLFRIEND HAS PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO A CHARGE OF SECOND DEGREE MURDER.

53 YEAR OLD JOHN P. BAKER ENTERED HIS PLEA AT AN ARRAIGNMENT MONDAY IN DAKOTA COUNTY DISTRICT COURT.

BAKER IS CHARGED IN THE DEATH OF KELLY ALSPACH LAST OCTOBER AT THE HOME THEY SHARED. ALSPACH’S BODY WAS FOUND HIDDEN IN A WINDOW SEAT AT THE HOME.

A PRE TRIAL CONFERENCE HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR FERUARY 28TH AT 1PM IN DAKOTA COUNTY DISTRICT COURT.

BAKER CONTINUES TO BE HELD IN THE DAKOTA COUNTY JAIL ON A MILLION AND HALF DOLLARS BOND.
