SIOUX CITY—SIOUX CITY MAYOR PRO-TEM TOM PADGETT ANNOUNCED HIS CANDIDACY FOR MAYOR MONDAY.

THE CURRENT COUNCIL MEMBER SERVED TWO PREVIOUS TERMS ON THE COUNCIL FROM 1994 TO 2001 AND WAS MAYOR FROM 1998 TO 2000.

PADGETT WILL FOCUS ON JOB CREATION, AGING INFASTRUCTURE AND PROPERTY TAXES.
